In December 2004, I went to Rome and Sorrento with David, my nephew George, and my friend Jennifer.   Originally this was a trip for me to take George to Europe for his graduation present.  But as time went on, more people wanted to go along, and so there were 4 of us.

We flew into Rome and took a train to Naples and then Sorrento where we had rented an apartment.  Our apartment was on the main street in downtown Sorrento and was on the 5th floor of an apartment building.  We had a great view of the sea from one balcony, and another balcony overlooking the street.  It was in a perfect location - very close to the train station, and the main square in downtown Sorrento.
